Custom Ax or Hatchet Sheath

When the Living Heritage Goods’ leatherworker inherited an old hatchet from her great-grandfather, the sheath was practically falling apart. To preserve this piece of history, she copied the pattern of the original to make a new sheath for the heirloom. Closed with a button from a pair of Levi’s jeans, this hatchet is now a beautiful functional decor piece. If you have an axe or hatchet that needs a sheath, we are happy to help. We custom make these to fit the individual implement. Sheaths can be closed with an option of a snap or button, and can be made to have a belt clip or loop for smaller hatchets. To make these we require either to have the ax or hatchet sent to us, or else detailed measurements of the tool so we can make the best fit possible. Each sheath is hand stitched and reinforced with brass rivets. These will withstand the wear and tear of regular use and will last to be passed down to the next generation!
